denim dress

Hello beautiful ones of the Most High! How’s everyone doing? It’s a long weekend for some in South Africa but not for me. I’m at work as usual, busy busy. Yesterday was Heritage Day and so I didn’t go to work (yay) . I spent my day at church celebrating with my church family,it was super awesome and successful . We prayed, sang, and praised God. After that we had a braai (barbecue) and shared food, the food was delicious! Fun time in the sun you know.  It’s been quite busy and I haven’t been posting as much as I’d like to but, worry not, everything is under control.

Today’s outfit of the day is real simple and cute if I do say so myself. I wore a denim off the shoulder dress with sandals and some colourful accessories. The off the shoulder dress is a really hot trend at the moment and I saw it appear often on my Pinterest and I fell in love with it then and told myself I would get one. This isn’t the first time this dress appears on my blog. A few weeks ago I wore it with a midi skirt and it looked like a top rather than a dress. I love that I can wear it in different ways.

I’ve mentioned my love for accessories and jewellery and the power they have to complete any outfit. I wore this necklace and bracelets in the spirit of Heritage Day. They are so colourful and add something extra to the outfit. I bought the sandals a little while back during summer. I love that they are so comfortable and have a very “African” vibe to them. I love all things African don’t you? I’m also rocking my summer hairstyle already, I love wearing this big hair when it gets warmer in Johannesburg. You know what they say right “big hair don’t care” lol. Outfit details and more pictures below, Enjoy! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and long weekend for those who took days off in South Africa.
