Hello beautiful ones and happy Monday! I’m one of those people that loves Mondays…well I have no beef with any day of the week, I try and make all days work.  I hope you all had a lovely weekend, what did you get up to? I was working as usual and tried to catch up on some sleep, that didn’t go so well but I keep on trying. I’ve also started with my morning jogs and I feel GREAT!

I’ve always wanted to try this bob box braids do and my cousin was home for the weekend so she hooked me up. I feel so pretty tihihi . When I looked at myself in the mirror this morning I thought the weather was perfect, no more winter and this hairdo deserves a fire outfit. Sooooooo…..for today’s outfit of the day (OOTD) I wore a figure hugging military green pencil skirt  (because…curves hehe) with a gold detail zip in the front.  There’s a small slit right at the bottom of the zip and that just shouts SEXY and feminine to me, adding a little something more to it…I love it, don’t you? I paired the skirt with a long sleeved plunging v neck white tee . To finish off the look, I wore one of my most comfortable gold strap heels and VOILA!

I’ve worn this skirt once and didn’t think of putting it on the blog because I didn’t quite like the outfit I came up with. It’s a new day, new outfit so I had to put this one up and share it with you. The military green, khaki is a hot trend at the moment. I’ve seen jumpsuits, pants, dresses, tshirts, tshirt dresses and so many other beautiful pieces in this colour. In my previous post I mentioned my love for pencil skirts and how I fell in love with them. When I walked into the store the first thing that caught my eye about this skirt was the zip at the front, I almost fainted LOL it was perfect! The military green colour was a bonus , lol. I’ve talked to a few ladies about this skirt, some of the ladies were even inspired to buy it after they saw my photo on my Instagram…and questions I got were “where did you get it? What would you pair it with?”, “how much did you buy it for?” so if you have this skirt please feel free to email me your pictures so i can put them up on the blog.

I think white tees are a gift from God, I am so grateful for them and I have so many. It’s one of those things I can’t get enough of and can’t do without in my closet. Long sleeved, short sleeved, round neck, v neck you name it, I love them!  Anywayyyyy, I paired the pencil skirt with a white tee because I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. I finished off the look by adding a simple choker.

I was really feeling extra good this morning. I am alive and well and I don’t have a cold anymore. Life is pretty good right now. I also tried out some new poses lol, what do you think? Do you like them? I think I should keep them and practice them . I did that hand on my hair thing a lot huh? But practice makes perfect LOL. More details and pictures below, enjoy!
