Hello, hello beautiful ones! How was the weekend?! Did you have a great one? Well, Johannesburg was on another level; the cold was real although I still managed to witness a beautiful wedding where the cold and rain just couldn’t stop us!

Soooooooo, I mentioned my love and appreciation for male clothing and fashion as a whole in one of my previous blog posts. That wasn’t the last you will hear of it……I’m introducing something exciting on the blog today. I’m calling it Monday Man Feature (MMF)… yes, it’s a thing now, ha! Let me tell you a little bit about how it will work…. I know and follow quite a few dapper gentlemen on social media and so I will be sharing some of their favourite looks with you and also asking them a few questions about themselves and their style. The aim of this is to share my appreciation for their style but also to allow some of my male ‘style challenged’ readers and followers to learn from them. It’s all about learning and growing. Being and feeling great! Something I know that can be done in several ways… Looking good is just one of those ways. Can I get an Amen somebody?! LOL! Moving right along…My first Monday Male Feature is a dapper gentleman named…….well keep reading and find out 🙂

Hi Male Feature number 1…..tell us something about yourself

My Name is Dokun Olumofin, I am from a family of 4 boys. I am the 3rd out of the 4 boys. I am a Nigerian based Politician and Business man. I am 32 years of age. I am dark skinned, 6 ft tall and have a slim stature. I love fashion and set trends in style.

Thank you for introducing yourself. Now that we kind of know who you are, lets get right into it shall we? How would you describe your style?

My style is unique. I am bold. I take fashion steps no one wants to take. I wear unique shoes, well cut traditional outfits, Italian suits and also colourful casuals.

I can tell from your photos that you are indeed bold and I must say you wear traditional outfits and suits very well.

Thank you! What or who inspires or influences your style?
My style is inspired by the saying IMAGE IS EVERYTHING, so I go out of way to look good.
The one thing every man should have…..

Every man should have long sleeve white shirts, you can never go wrong with them.

What are some of your closet favorites?

My favourites are Danshiki (Traditional outfit) , Italian shoes, French and bespoke suits.

I’d like to thank Dokun for taking time out to answer some of my questions and be part of this, I really appreciate it

I first saw the dapper brother in a certain photograph that went viral on social media. For those of you who have not seen it scroll all the way to the last photo and check it out.
