Hello beautiful ones of the Most High! I trust everyone is well and had a great weekend. It was a rather gloomy weekend filled with cold and rain but we are alive and well and that is all that matters. Saturday morning I was at work and afterwards I went for a training event. I spent the rest of the late afternoon and evening in bed. On Saturday evening I was invited to a small gathering, it was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a mix of people and the conversation, music and the food was amazing. I was exhausted after that, lol, I am such an old soul but it was enjoyment. Sunday as usual I was in church and it was wonderful. It’s amazing serving in the house of the Lord and being among fellow believers.
It’s time to meet our Male Feature for the week, are we ready? Set? Let’s go!
Hi Male Feature …..tell us something about yourself
My name is Munya and I run a Digital Marketing Agency (PNK Design Ltd) where I help small to medium business with either creating an online presence or transforming the presence they currently have. I’m based in a small city outside of London called Chelmsford, Essex.
Nice! How would you describe your style?
I would definitely describe my style as flexible. What I mean is, I don’t have a strict pattern of “oh I need a suit to look & feel good”, I just try to have a wardrobe that allows me to be flexible enough to look good when going out casual or when it’s a special occasion, allowing the occasion to dictate really. I’m not a big brand guy. I don’t believe in the whole, if it’s D&G or Versace then automatically it will make me look better. The fabric might make you feel better but style for me is how you look irrespective of whether you’re in a Zara or Dsquared piece. You can still look foolish in the best designer clothes .
What or who inspires or influences your style?
Style inspiration to me is quite varied. For example, I love what the guys at Musikaferere are doing (the guys who keep ‘Ghost’ from ‘Power’ suited up), their suits are always crisp with just enough detail to make you stand out. They definitely inspire me when it comes to keeping it clean and classy on the suit front. I also love what Olivier Rousteing (Balmain creative director) does with colour & design, Kanye West (more of the old Kanye) for just being fearless and creating new trends, David Gandy, king of the three piece, Tom Ford & Oswald Boateng for me are just stylish to the core. Seriously cool guys lol.
The one thing every man should have….
The one thing that I believe every man should have is a good watch. Men don’t really have that many accessories that allow us to show off our personality. Which is why I always feel that a watch can actually say something about the person wearing it because you know it’s an extension of yourself. My personal watch collection is over double digits and I believe in that so much that this year I decided to launch my watch brand, VIBRATO Signature Watches. I’m trying to bring back personality powered colour into the industry.
What are some of your closet favourites?
My closet favourites would be my double breasted blazers. I spend most of my time meeting and talking to clients so it’s always handy when I can just throw one on and dress it down with a pair of jeans to get the right balance of casual business.
Munya, thanks for taking time out to answer my questions and for agreeing to be part of this. I really appreciate it. Keep scrolling for more pictures.
