Hello beautiful ones of the Most High! I trust everyone is well and had a good weekend. My weekend was pretty chilled and I enjoyed not doing much lol. On Saturday morning I went to Meryl’s Bootcamp and as usual it was excellent. I love going to the boot camps because not only do I get to work on my body, I get to meet new people there and make connections and eventually friendships. Since joining the monthly boot camps I have learnt a few things about my body which I am currently working on. I have made a lot of progress and I love how I look and feel in this body.
No lie, some of the sessions are intense for me and the post boot camp pain can be really bad but it’s that good kind of pain. In spite of all the intense workouts, pushing my body, tears and pain I somehow find myself coming back there every month, lol. Health is wealth people and I am not giving up. Please feel to join us if you are in Johannesburg, anyone is welcome. For more details check out @merylsbootcamp on Instagram. The rest of my weekend was spent churching, eating and being in bed pretty much lol.
Right it is that time again , let’s meet out Male Feature for this week.
Hi Male Feature …..tell us something about yourself
Hi , thank you for picking me for this special interview. I am Trevor Mumba, an entrepreneur and fashion enthusiast. I live in Lonehill, Johannesburg.
Ah, nice! How would you describe your style?
I like to describe my style as self-expressive. I like to express how I feel through the way I dress. Therefore I do not have a specific style. I can switch up styles every day of the week.
What or who inspires or influences your style?
It’s hard to pin point who or what inspires my style because how I dress is a product of different influences in my life spanning years of exposure to music, films, travelling and cultures. Growing up listening to and watching RnB videos definitely played a huge role on my style. I have evolved over time and learned to fuse in different aesthetics to create my current look.
The one thing every man should have….
A white dress shirt. Its classic, timeless and versatile.
What are some of your closet favourites?
An Omega de Ville (automatic movement) watch, a pair of brown Zara loafers, a rare pair of Fear Of God military sneakers, a white Asics Tiger “Mexico 66” sneaker with burgundy details, My Armani aviator shades, a couple of plain white dress shirts and classic blue jeans.
Trevor, thanks for taking time out to answer my questions and for agreeing to be part of this. I really appreciate it. Keep scrolling for more pictures.
Another stylish, wonderful Monday Male feature, I hope you enjoyed that. If you’d like to see more of Trevor’s style check him out on Instagram: selfstyledking. Keep following to be inspired by more male features…Goodbye!
