Hello beautiful ones of the Most High! Wow, it has been a long while and finally, I am inspired to get back to blogging and sharing with you all again. I am so sorry I dropped the ball on you all, there was and still is so much going on in my life and I went through a phase where I lacked inspiration. I am looking forward to bringing you new, interesting, fun content! OK! I do not want to say too much, let’s meet our male feature for the week, shall we?

Hi Male Feature …..tell us something about yourself

I am Mpendulo Mthembu. I’m from a small town called Izingolweni, currently residing in Pretoria studying at the University of Pretoria. I am a humble guy, focused on fulfilling my life’s purpose and helping others to fulfill theirs as well. I’ve found that helping people gives me a feeling that’s unfathomable yet so fulfilling. As far as passion goes, my areas of passion lie in Entrepreneurship, advancing God’s Kingdom, community and youth development, and of course style/fashion.

Ah, nice! How would you describe your style?

Posh, Elegant, Simple-sometimes with a tad bit of sophistication. And classic-  because a classic man or woman will never go out of style.

What or who inspires or influences your style?

Okay,  firstly, my style is inspired by these two words,

These words are my “principles” that I adhere to when I dress up.

Secondly, different eras in history inspire my style as well. I like to visit these eras and pick elements or styles that appeal to me (such as the 1920s when the tie pins and tie bars were really popular and in the 1930s when large Peaked lapels were the thing), Then I implement and modernize them into my style.

Lastly, my ambition inspires my style. If you have high ambitions, I believe your style has to reflect that.

The one thing every man should have….

Generally speaking, a man has to have a vision for his life. There is a saying that says “a man without a vision is like a bird without wings“. So a man whose life is absent of a vision will never reach his life’s pinnacle. Then stylistically ( that word sounds so good ) I know some people saw this coming LOL, a man has to have a well-tailored suit. There are many occasions that will call for that suit-weddings, funerals, job interviews, pitching to potential investors, etc. so a man has to have one or more if you fancy them as I do.

What are some of your closet favourites?

Shades, those who know me know that I love shades I mean it’s evident from the pictures as well LOL. They are such are a good piece to structure and highlight the best features of your face (but that’s if you’ve found a good frame). Not only that they’re also functional because they protect your eyes and surrounding skin from the sun.

Secondly, Shirts. If I’m not wearing suits, my default is wearing shirts (most of the time that is).

Thirdly, my tie bar. It’s such a small accessory, but it works like a charm.

Fourthly, hats. Not only do they structure your face (depending on how you wear them) but they also cover your skin from being exposed to the sun.

Lastly, Chelsea boots. They give you that “sleek”, “clean” look, which is why I love them.

Mpendulo, thanks for taking time out to answer my questions and for agreeing to be part of this. I really appreciate it. Keep scrolling for more pictures.
